Highway 121

Note:  Highway 121 is no longer in Ontario's highway system, however this is not totally due to downloading.  Before 1998 Highway 121 ran from Highway 35 just south of Fenelon Falls through Kinmount to Mindin; where for a few kilometres it ran concurrent with Highway 35 before branching off easterly to Haliburton. From Haliburton Highway 121 continued east ending at Highway 28 just west of Bancroft.  In 1998 the section of Highway 121 south of Haliburton was downloaded leaving only the east-west section between Haliburton and Paudash.  In Summer 2003 the remaining section of Highway 121 was renumbered Highway 118, a highly logical renumbering (proving that the MTO was indeed capable of logical decisions.) as both highways ran east-west and shared a common terminus in Haliburton.

Southern Terminus:  Junction King's Highway 35 about 5km south of Fenelon Falls.
